Who's Your Daddy?! is a physics-based comedy sandbox game where you play as either a clueless dad or a suicidal baby, and the whole goal is either keeping the kid alive or finding creative ways to end him. It's developed by Evil Tortilla Games, and honestly, it's one of those titles that sounds terrible on paper but ends up being weirdly hilarious in practice. The game first launched back in 2015 on PC through Steam, and it later made its way to mobile. You can grab it on android through Google Play, and it's also on iOS via the App Store. The mobile version has pulled in a solid number of installs, somewhere in the millions range, which makes sense given how much it blew up on streaming platforms. It's not free, though. You pay a small one-time price, usually a couple of bucks depending on your region, and there are no in app ads or microtransactions nagging you. That alone puts it above a lot of mobile stuff these days.
Playing Who's Your Daddy?! is simple to pick up but chaotic to master. As the dad, you're basically a walking disaster trying to baby-proof a house that seems designed to kill. You grab the kid, toss him around, block outlets, and panic as he crawls toward literally anything dangerous. As the baby, your job is the opposite, and it's honestly the more fun role. You wriggle free, hunt down hazards, and cause absolute mayhem. The physics are janky in the best way, and that's the whole charm. My favorite part is just messing around with the ragdoll movement and seeing what ridiculous situation I can create. It never plays the same way twice, and that unpredictability keeps me coming back.
Compared to other physics sandbox titles like Human Fall Flat or Gang Beasts, Who's Your Daddy?! leans way harder into pure absurdity. Those games are polished and fun, but this one has a specific dark comedy vibe you won't find elsewhere. If you like silly party games that make you laugh at how broken everything is, this is worth a download. Just don't expect a super serious experience. Install it, mess around for an hour, and you'll get exactly what you came for. It's not perfect, but it knows what it is.
Features
- Two-sided gameplay ๐ฎ You can play as the dad or the baby, and each role feels completely different, which doubles the replay value.
- Physics chaos ๐คช The ragdoll movement and object interactions create unpredictable moments that are genuinely funny, unlike scripted comedy in other games.
- Local multiplayer ๐ฅ You can play with a friend on the same device, which makes it way more entertaining than solo play and beats the single-player focus of similar mobile titles.
Pros
- Genuinely funny concept ๐ The premise alone is absurd enough to carry the experience, and it delivers laughs in a way that Human Fall Flat doesn't quite match.
- Simple controls ๐ You don't need a tutorial to figure things out, which makes it easy to hand your phone to a friend and start playing.
- No ads or paywalls ๐ฐ Unlike most mobile games on google play, you pay once and get the full thing without interruptions.
Cons
- Buggy physics ๐ The jank is part of the fun, but sometimes objects clip through walls or the baby gets stuck, which gets annoying compared to the tighter physics in Gang Beasts.
- Limited content ๐ After a few hours, you've seen most of what the game offers, and it doesn't have the long-term depth of similar sandbox games.
- Clunky mobile controls ๐ฑ Touch controls feel awkward compared to the PC version, and it takes some getting used to before it feels playable.
